11 Greasy Spoons That Eater Readers Love

View as Map

Earlier this week, Eater Maine rolled out its map of Maine's 10 Most Iconic Diners. These are the classic places that have garnered loads of local and, in many cases, national attention for their food and atmosphere. But that is by no means a comprehensive list of great diners in the state. A few weeks back, Eater asked you, the readers, for your favorite Greasy Spoons. We've compiled those recommendations, left in the comments or sent via the tipline, into a map.

Here are 11 spots that come highly recommended by readers. Some are off the beaten path, others are just sometimes overshadowed by more famous diners in town. But these places have their own devoted following, offer up some great dishes and are worth checking out. You guys said so.
