Announced in June and originally aiming for a July opening, Taco Trio's new Portland location opens today at 11 a.m. The company shared the news on Facebook, thanking fans for their patience.
The second iteration of South Portland's red hot taco restaurant is at 1706 Forest Avenue, most recently home to India Bazaar and Nina's Variety before that. So far no plans have been set for breakfast, which was added to the menu and the hours at the original space early this year.
Update, 9/22/15: A Facebook commenter said that the restaurant has a "limited menu today, but unlimited delicious for the future!"
