The co-owner of the Portland franchise of Boston-based "real food fast" burger chain b.good, Bill Zolper, told Eater a planned expansion to South Portland is tentatively set to open on October 14, but he "can't say for sure four weeks out." According to a report from Urban Eye, the new location at 200 Gorham Road was originally shooting to open this month.
The second outpost from Zolper and his father, Ben, is going in near Taj and next to Olive Garden by the Maine Mall. It replaces the ill-fated Gourmaine, opened last year by the owners of Portland's former Whaddapita, then closed for renovations, then reopened, and then finally closed for good this year, despite its favorable Yelp reviews.
