You may recall that Jason Loring, co-owner of Nosh and Slab, is a prolific social media sharer. Well, he's at it again, and this time various sources say the project in question is another collaboration with Mike Fraser of Bramhall: a tiki bar beneath Arabica Coffee's 2 Free Street location in Portland. (Loring and Frasier's other joint venture was postponed until 2016.)
Filter through dog videos and political memes on Loring's timeline and you could stumble across yesterday's preview image of his latest venture, captioned, "Things are moving along. This is the last spot of sunlight this space will ever see!!"

Loring and Fraser declined to comment on the rumors, but more hints have cropped up, including on Loring's LinkedIn profile, where he lists "Rhum" as a current company. The Press Herald may have stumbled across the news, too: buried in yesterday's piece about Vinland's dispute with Yelp, "Owner of Portland restaurant accuses Yelp of manipulating reviews," Loring was originally described as "Rhum owner," a reference that wasn't explained and has since been removed.
