Beer, whisk(e)y, savory pies: get all of these and more when Camden's The Drouthy Bear throws open its doors Saturday, September 12 at 11 a.m, according to a Facebook post. Andrew Stewart's anticipated Scottish-style pub, whose name means "thirsty," dropped its full menu online last month and has recently posted pictures of its bar selection to Instagram.
The opening day draft line-up comprises mass-market stand-bys like Guinness, Old Speckled Hen, and Miller Lite alongside a couple of locals — Maine Beer Company, Andrew's Brewing Company — and the single malt collection appears mighty thirst-quenching. Get in there this weekend, sample The Drouthy Bear's mutton pies and Macallan, and report back.
