For $1.2 million you could own a Greek Revival-style building in Portland's West End with three apartments and "a thriving restaurant," according to an ad on Town and Shore's website. A tipster called the grammar, spelling, and photographs "suspect" but noted that the realtor is the real deal. The listing promises that the 5,000 square foot building purchase includes "all equipment, inventory, name, creative & good will" for the mystery restaurant, which is apparently "A Portland Institution — A Sure Winner."
What do you think, readers — which "highly profitable restaurant" is turning over in the West End? Speculate in the comments or share information anonymously via the tipline.
