A Craigslist Boston ad for White Cap Grille's space in the Old Port tells some harsh tales. "Current restaurant is mismanaged and grosses $1MM per year," the ad states bluntly. For $18,750/month, an interested party could take over the enormous "300+ seat corner restaurant," including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
It appears the beleaguered business has a little over two months left, as the 7,500 square foot space is available to lease November 1. The last two Old Port openings in huge venues, Ebb and Flow and TIQA, were Mediterranean-style; what would you like to see take over the two-story behemoth at 164 Middle Street?
