A busy Saturday at Marcy's Diner creates Facebook controversy.

The co-owner of Marcy's Diner, Darla Neugebauer, uses the restaurant's Facebook page to speak her mind, but it seems a post from yesterday took the sharing too far for one outspoken demographic of the web — mothers.

On the Facebook page, Neugebauer describes a hectic Saturday at the Portland diner in which she calls a patron's two-year-old a "screaming child," "beast," and "monster." Read through the rest of the posts on Marcy's Diner's page, and you'll see it's not uncommon for her words to be rather inflammatory, though the usual target is herself and her staff.

The parent of the toddler described here spotted Neugebauer's rant and posted it to a Facebook group for mothers, calling for them to come to her defense. There were over 300 comments using threats and incendiary language against the establishment, but the post and reactions are now deleted. Some of the comments on the page ranged from "You are disgusting for calling a child rotten," to "I am embarrassed for your establishment."

Local news station WCSH 6 interviewed Neugebauer to explain the situation, and asked if her "Are you sorry, at all?" She replied, "Sorry isn't the right word. I might have used poor judgement. I wouldn't say I was sorry, because it stopped. When things stop, it's usually a good thing."
