Another Brewery, Fore River Brewing Company, Bound for South Portland

Contrary to a press release sent out in August 2014, a new brewery called Fore River Brewing Company will open in South Portland rather than Portland. Following a months-long silence, the company recently began updating its social media accounts again, posting a slow-mo construction video last night.

The second brewery announced in South Portland this year, Fore River's production space and tasting room will be located in a neighborhood just over the Veterans Memorial Bridge from Portland, not far from Little Bigs and Dairy Queen.
