Operating out of a former Wicked Good Street Kitchen vehicle, Molly Ritzo soft opened her new business Milly's Skillet on Peaks Island over the weekend. First sale? A cinnamon bun made by Mainly Grains in South Portland. The grand opening celebration is this coming weekend, May 15 and 16 at Jones Landing. Island living is looking up.
Ritzo told Eater she'll be serving up fast, healthy food and drink for breakfast and lunch: "Sit on the patio overlooking Casco Bay and sample our Grilled Fish Tacos, Sirloin Burgers, Lobster Rolls, and Steamed Lobsters. Or load up a picnic basket with our prepped and ready sandwiches and goodies for a day on Peaks or out on the bay!" Keep an eye on her blog for possible future updates about the running of a food truck.
