From Poutine to Fried Dough, Sugarbowl Menu is Pure Pub Style

The three salad options aren't fooling anyone — vegetable-focused this ain't.

Sugarloafers will receive another pub style dining option when The Sugarbowl opens this spring. Bored with the Bag Burger and The Rack Burger? Pair ten frames of bowling action with the Sugarbowl Burger, a half pound of Black Angus beef topped with cole slaw, bacon, provolone, lettuce, and tomato. It comes on a pretzel bun, which could be a game changer for the area. See the full opening day menu below, and if you want to see local beer on the draft list, weigh in on a Facebook post from a month ago calling for suggestions.

Chef Chris Maturi will also be serving up apps of poutine and nachos, sandwiches like lobster rolls or a "haddock chicken sandwich" (which appears to just be a haddock sandwich with a side of typo), pizzas, and dessert options including a deep fried dough boy. The description on that last one promises "It's a carnival in your mouth!" There are also three salads — Caesar, Caprese, and Taco — for anyone hoping to knock a few strokes off their simulated golf game. Curious to see the progress of the entertainment center and sports bar? Owner Kerry Audet recently invited Facebook fans to "stop by anytime" and have a look.
