Reopening Report: Blue is Back and Bigger Than Ever

Drink spirits and dance freely at the reopened bar and music venue.

One of Portland's premier, intimate live music venues reopened last Wednesday after a month of expansion work. Blue, housed at 650A Congress Street, took over 652 Congress last month and combined the spaces for an enlarged interior. The venue also got approval from the city to add spirits to its line-up and even allow the devil's waltz—or "dancing," as it's known to some. Kevin Bacon approves.
