Modern Vegan, a meal delivery service, is shutting down indefinitely. Owner Chris McClay said last month that while a planned take-out location had fallen through, the delivery service and her catering line were doing quite well. This month, though, she announced that she had "been unable to locate an adequate facility" from which to continue running the business, and thus would be laying off staff. Quote: "It's not necessarily the end of Modern Vegan Meal Delivery, but for now, I just have no other option than to step away and look for other work." [Modern Vegan]
