Week 12 of Blue Rooster Food Co.'s guest chef series sees a creation from chef Cheryl Lewis of the recently-expanded El Rayo Tacqueria: "That's one HOT dog!" Made with pico de gallo, grilled nopales (prickly pear), roasted yellow peppers, jalapeño sauce, and habañero marigold mayo, the dog feels "simpler" than its predecessors, but not in a bad way, according to Chubby Werewolf's review. Get the penultimate guest hot dog for $5 through Thursday, after which chef/owner Rob Evans of Duckfat will finish off the series.
