It might not look like much now, but that hole in the ground should house Ricker Hill Orchards' tasting room by September. The family farm, which supplies raw juice to many hard cider producers in Maine, is launching its own Hard Cider Plant and Winery, according to the Sun Journal. The venture could become the largest hard cider producer in the state. New products will be available on draft shortly; look for cans to follow, including alcoholic ciders as well as sparkling, non-alcoholic versions. [Sun Journal]
