Due to the national holiday last Friday, our regularly-scheduled coverage of Blue Rooster Food Co.'s guest chef series was interrupted; unlucky timing for a hot dog feature. In Week Six, "The Vinland Dog," from Vinland chef-owner David Levi, stays true to its creator's locavore philosophy. The Maine Family Farms hot dog is topped with sauerkraut, cranberry chipotle sauce, and whey mayo, and the entire package is wrapped in a corn tortilla.
