"Boda is a 'very Thai' kitchen and street-vendor inspired tapas and skewer bar." So reads the description on the Portland restaurant's official website, which goes on to explain that "very Thai" means the food is "very authentic, [as] opposed to being an Americanized version of Thai food." Principled fans of the owners' nearby vegetarian restaurant, The Green Elephant, might be dismayed, but check the menu: At Boda you can make an entire meal out of meats on sticks.
