What: The launch party and book signing for Kate McCarty's Portland Food: The Culinary Capital of Maine.
5) Portland Loves Coffee Tour
When: Sunday, June 1, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Various; starts at Coffee by Design
What: Join Portland Food Map's Anestes Fotiades and the Maine Brew Bus—for which Eater Maine editor Adam H. Callaghan is the curriculum coordinator—for a tour of four Portland coffee houses. Fotiades will make a rare appearance to lead the tour and educate the public on roasting, cupping, pouring, and more.
