3Crow Restaurant & Bar, Josh Hixson's Southern-influenced establishment in Rockland, debuted a brunch menu on Sunday that sounds pretty excellent. Starters range from citrus salad to Scotch eggs to corn dogs. The main courses include below the Mason-Dixon staples like biscuits and gravy and chicken and waffles, along with a breakfast burger that is ground in-house with whole slab bacon and topped with an egg, cheddar and tobacco onions.
For early drinking, there's the "beer geek breakfast," which consists solely of a Mikkeller Oatmeal Stout, Buzz (chilled espresso and ale) and the Bloody Rose-Mary, made with rosemary-infused vodka. For teetotalers, there's coffee, tea, juices, etc. Brunch hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Here's the full menu to peruse and think about until Sunday arrives:
