Samuel's Bar and Grill received three stars ("good") from John Golden in this week's Maine Sunday Telegram. Golden doesn't necessarily accept the claims of the loyalists of the Morrill's Corner watering hole who declare the food to be the best in Portland, but says, "in its class, this is the real deal." He finds "great wings – perfectly cooked, very meaty and not greasy." The chicken Parm and broiled haddock get high marks while the ribs were "standard issue" and the fries "limp and slightly underdone." [MST]
