John Golden gave the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport three and a half stars (between "good" and "excellent") in this week's Maine Sunday Telegram. He finds a capable kitchen serving a"contemporary menu featuring locally sourced food," with the lobster stew, beet salad, seafood bouillabaisse and desserts getting mention as standouts. The table-side, rolling cart preparations of things like Caesar salad and chateaubriand, though, come off as "comically old-hat." [MST]
