In the comments below the Iconic Pizza Spots Map, "Count Spatula" posted this great photo (along with some other throwback pics -- go check them out) of the Angelone's that once stood in Portland's Monument Square. He writes: "Talk to anybody older than 50 and they will tell you that is the first place they had a pizza in Maine or how it was the place to go. They did an absolute killing there. That location was open from 1960-1970 when the city took it and demolished it and One City Center eventually was built years later."
