Dana Street, the Portland restaurateur behind Fore Street and Street and Co., is building a new spot on Maine Wharf, according to a Tweet yesterday from Press Herald/MaineToday online content producer Susan Axelrod. Set just back from Commercial Street behind the Dry Dock restaurant and a stone's throw from Boone's Fish House & Oyster Room on the wharf that's in the midst of a complete overhaul, it's just the metal bones of what looks like a two-story building at this point. No word on what the name and specific concept will be, though seafood has to be the focus, given the spot (Scales 2?). If you know anything more, please hit up the tipline or anonymous comment form.
