The Press Herald's Susan Axelrod proves that fine dining isn't limited to Maine's mainland, searching out four of the best boat-required dining spots the state has to offer. They are Nebo Lodge on North Haven, The Islesford Dock on Little Cranberry Island, The Chebeague Island Inn (named for the island it's on) and Diamond's Edge on Great Diamond Island. "While it's certainly charming to take a boat to dinner, it's the food and the distinctive atmosphere at each of these restaurants that makes the experience especially memorable." [PPH]
