Melissa Kelly Wins JBF Award For Best Chef, Northeast

Tonight at Lincoln Center in New York City, Melissa Kelly of Primo in Rockland was named Best Chef, Northeast, by the James Beard Foundation, as reported by Eater National. Kelly has won the award once before, in 1999, when she was the chef at the Old Chatham Sheepherding Company in New York State. Since she opened Primo, Kelly has been nominated twice, but this is the first year she has been a finalist. Eater National is live streaming the awards.
