Less than a year after it opened, the Coffee Pot Cafe in Lincoln has closed, according to the Bangor Daily News. Another Coffee Pot Cafe with the same owner is still open in Bangor, (but that's not the original, which closed in 2009 after 80 years, just to um, cloud the coffee). The remaining Coffee Pot made news when it was involved in a legal struggle with Bangor rival The Legacy Sandwich Shop "over the use of the words "deluxe" and "superdeluxe" to describe its sandwiches," signatures of the original Coffee Pot.
