Thursday's 'Toast On The Coast' Benefits Easter Seals

Old Port Wine Merchants will provide the wines for the second-annual fundraiser to benefit Easter Seals programming. Held at Portland's Ocean Gateway from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, the event has two components, the Private Tasting and the Grand Tasting. At the Private Tasting, David's, Sea Glass at Inn by the Sea, Plate and Soul, The Winey Baker and Dean's Sweets will provide the "tastes". The Grand Tasting roster includes: Sapporo, Vignola Cinque Terre, Nosh, The Farmer's Table, Kamasouptra, Flatbreads, Swallowtail Farm and Creamery, Standard Baking Company, East End Cupcakes and Coffee By Design. Tickets are $75 for the Private Tasting (which also allows access to the Grand Tasting) and $50 for the Grand Tasting. According to its website, Easter Seals helps people with "autism, developmental, physical and mental disabilities as well as our new initiative to support Maine's veterans."
