Josh Hixson, who also owns 40 Paper in Camden, has opened 3 Crow Restaurant & Bar, which takes its name from its location in the former Three Crow Spice building in Rockland. With a long line of taps, the bar focuses on beer and whiskey; the menu features "American food heavily influenced by the eclectic flavors of the South," according to Facebook. Cory Hooper, who has worked with Hixson at 40 Paper and his former Camden restaurant, Brevetto, is the chef and the pastry chef is Tara Barker, one of three recently profiled in Maine Magazine. Supper is served every evening from 5 to 9 p.m., drinks from 4 to 11 p.m. (midnight on weekends) and a daily happy hour is 4 to 6 p.m.
