For the fifth in a series of speakeasy-style cocktail events called "Hush-Hush," Portland's cocktail power couple, Andrew and Briana Volk of The Portland Hunt & Alpine Club, welcomed the public to Eventide Oyster Co. on Thursday night. Where previous "Hush-Hushes" have been invite-only, for $50, anyone with an advance reservation could sample Andrew Volk's inventive cocktails and feast on oysters and tasty bites from the celebrated team at Eventide. Also in attendance were a number of local food bloggers, including John Golden who recapped the event on his blog for The Portland Press Herald, The Golden Dish.
