Chef Krista Kern Desjarlais, of the celebrated Bresca in Portland, will converting a circa 1929 snack shack into a "picnic inspired" summer restaurant, Bresca and The Honey Bee, according to Portland Food Map. Called Outlet Beach, the property, which Desjarlais and her husband Eric purchased, is on Sabbathday Lake in the town of New Gloucester, where they live. "Bresca and the Honey Bee will be open 7 days a week from Memorial Day straight through to Labor Day." [PFM]
