Listen up writers and restaurant lovers: Eater is looking to hire a Portland resident who is mainlined into the soul of the Maine's dining scene to take on the job of Eater Maine editor. Wonderful Eater Maine founding editor Susan Axelrod, who launched this site last May, is moving on to a full time gig at the Portland Press Herald. Thus her current seat is open for any hungry writers out there.
This is a freelance gig with commensurate pay, and you'll be able to work from anywhere you want so long as it keeps your ear close to ground for good restaurant and nightlife intel and be available to blog for us on a daily basis.
If you think you fit the bill, drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with Eater Maine Editor in the subject line, and a brief description about yourself and a paragraph or two about why you're interested in the job. If you've got a blog and/or a Twitter account, please include a link to them as well. No resumes, please. If we like what we see, we'll be in touch quickly. Thanks.
