Portland bar-hoppers have undoubtedly already made it a point to check out Little Tap House, which opened Friday at the corner of High and Spring Streets (the former home of Plush and before that, Katahdin). It's perfectly situated for neighborhood beer drinkers, because who wants to schlepp down to the Old Port all the time? LTH is owned by Lee Goyette and managed by her daughter, Brianna Jaro; the chef is Andrew Kadish, whose menu lists mussels, wings, a burger, fish and chips and the increasingly ubiquitous poutine - among other beer-friendly offerings. The 14 taps include two dedicated to stouts, according to this report by Karen Beaudoin of The Portland Press Herald on her In The City blog.
