In'Finiti Ad Infinitum

Every writer in town who can get away with it has set their sights on Portland newcomer In'finiti Fermentation & Distillation. (And why the hell not?) Even those who aren't really restaurant writers, like Carol McCracken of the Munjoy Hill News/Bangor Daily News, whose glowing report is punctuated with exclamation points and extra capital letters: "MHN.com sampled the primus primus, its first batch there and thought it was WONderful ... "It was DElicious!" (Typos, perhaps?) Her only complaint: "The authentic portholes are a nice touch, but do not afford much sunlight to offset the dark wood and dark walls; particularly for sun-deprived locals."

The headline: "To In'finiti And Beyond!" had to show up somewhere, and it did, on Holly Irwin's early-days review for Dispatch.

At the other end of the bar is the open kitchen but more exciting even than that is the awesome patio overlooking the water which is sure to be a happening spot this summer for tourists and locals alike.
She goes "a little crazy on the Tapas menu ... Although a bit on the pricey side, overall I was pleased with the culinary offerings here."
