hardingcc.jpgChef Harding Lee Smith has quick-thinking marina workers to thank for saving his life on Saturday, according to The Portland Press Herald. The owner of the "Rooms" was securing lines on his sailboat when slipped from a DeMillo's Marina dock at 2:30 a.m. in the height of the blizzard. When he was pulled out after being in the icy water for more than 15 minutes, Smith was "severely hypothermic," but recovered fully after a couple of hours at Maine Medical Center. [PPH]
