BOSTON — Three Portland chefs: East Ender's Mitch Gerow, Nikos Regas from Emilitsa and Pete Sueltenfuss from Grace will compete against chefs from Boston and Rhode Island in the 2013 Lamb Jam. The annual throwdown is Sunday, Feb. 17 at The Charles Hotel; VIP tickets are already sold out, but average-Joe tickets are still available for $60. [EaterWire]

PORTLANDAli Donohue of Dispatch Magazine is moving; she won't say where, but it's "about 600 miles" away. Before she skips town, she's got "9 Places to Dine Before Moving Out of Portland," to recommend. "BE WARNED: This is by no means a "foodie" list.
