[Screencap from A Christmas Story]
Perhaps you've been banned from family holidays for your behavior at Thanksgiving. Maybe your aunt's idea of the Feast of the Seven Fishes involves far too much Chicken of the Sea. Or maybe last year's crown roast disaster has you distancing yourself from the kitchen this Christmas. Whatever the reason may be, there are plenty of folks out there who will be looking for places to eat out this Christmas (and Christmas Eve), and while Christmas is a time of giving, eating and merriment, it's also a time of limited restaurant options.
This is where your help is requested, readers: What are the best Christmas and Christmas Eve dining options in Maine? Please let us know in the comments, via email (maine@eater.com) or through the anonymous tip form. We're looking for everything from seven-course prix fixe meals to pub grub. Just let us know what's open and what they're serving. We'll compile the responses into a handy map guide to Christmas dining.
