Verve, a popular burrito spot in Orono since 2009, opened its second location this morning at 91 Main St. in Bangor, according to its Facebook page. Both locations are owned by Heather and Abe Furth, who also own Woodman's Bar and Grill in Orono. The Bangor Verve is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., serving breakfast burritos and bagels in the morning. There's draft beer and draft wine (probably better suited for afternoon consumption), along with coffee and fruit smoothies. The lunch/dinner burrito menu offers chicken, steak, chorizo, bean and fajita veggie options, on two sizes of white or wheat tortillas, or in bowl or salad form. There's seating for 59 folks, according to The Weekly, with sofas and easy chairs for those looking to relax and hang out for a bit. Post burrito naps are not openly encouraged.
