Mark Gaier and Clark Frasier's acclaimed Arrows restaurant in Oqunquit is on the market for $1.2 million. The restaurant recently celebrated its 25th anniversary in fine fashion before closing for the season. It was just recently listed with Lux Realty Group.

UPDATE: Frasier tells Eater, "We have owned and operated Arrows for over 25 years, since we were in our mid-twenties. We've had a wonderful 25 years. It's been a real labor of love." Frasier said he and Gaier will continue to run MC Perkins Cove and also focus more of their efforts on their upcoming MC Medici Ristorante & Bar at the Renaissance Hotel in Boston's Seaport District as they look to expand the MC brand. They are targeting a February opening for the restaurant, which will be "all about historical Italian food, which has been a passion of ours."
Frasier said Arrows "had a great year" and has recently undergone renovations to make it "even more beautiful." He said they hope to find the right person to continue the Arrows tradition. He and Gaier are simply ready for some new challenges. "Twenty-five years is a long time to do one thing. It's really a very personal life decision."
