Harvest on the Harbor; Portland Beer Week; More

OLD PORT — Harvest on the Harbor, a food and wine festival now in its sixth year, will run from Oct. 23 to Oct. 26 at Portland's Ocean Gateway Pier. PORTLAND — Portland Beer Week kicks off Nov. 1 and runs through Nov. 10. It's a "series of events organized by industry participants to enhance beer knowledge and appreciation," with many local bars and breweries participating. OLD PORT — The Portland Hunt & Alpine Club is hosting a Caledonia Spirits Happy Hour tomorrow from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with head distiller Todd Hardie at the bar talking about Barr Hill gin and vodka. There will be drink specials. Then on Oct. 20 starting at 6 p.m., the bar will host Fernet Branca Industry Night, complete with drink specials, a swag wheel and a rep discussing the Fernet line.
