BRUNSWICK — The life and heritage of legendary Scottish poet Robert Burns will be feted with single malt, Scotch eggs and haggis at the Tavern at the Inn at Brunswick Station on Friday, Jan. 25. The menu also includes Cock-a-leekie soup (chicken soup), Bubbly-Jock an' trimmins (turkey and trimmings) and Tipsy Laird (trifle). Per tradition, the haggis will be piped in by bagpipes to "Ode to the Haggis" and ceremonially sliced with a sword. All this highland fun is $35 per person, excluding beverages (except for the Scotch toast to the haggis). Reservations are required. [EaterWire]
