PORTLAND — Plans for converting the old Portland Press Herald headquarters into a hotel and restaurant have been submitted to the city by 119 Development, LLC, according to the newspaper that used to occupy the building. The entrance for the 100-room hotel would be off Exchange Street; the 80-seat restaurant would be entered via Congress Street.
