Chefs Will Face Off In Farm-To-Table Challenge

Four chefs will bring their locavaore A-games to compete for bragging rights as "Maine's Best Farm-To-Table Restaurant" at the fifth-annual food and wine festival in October. Jeff Landry The Farmer's Table, Portland; Eric Flynn, The Harraseeket Inn, Freeport; Shannon Bard, Zapoteca, Portland and Kevin Walsh, Earth at Hidden Pond, Kennebunkport, "will use organic, farm raised products in their on stage cooking demonstrations which will be pared with exquisite wines and guests will taste the difference that locally grown, farm fresh products can make when presented by the highest caliber of chefs."
