Server Alleges Restaurant Owner Called Her 'A Nazi'

A former server at the Muddy Rudder restaurant in Brewer is suing its owner, claiming he called her "a Nazi" and refused to hire her because she is Jewish and of German descent, according to The Bangor Daily News. In her complaint, Elizabeth Eisenstadt, of Orono, says that the incident occurred in her interview to stay on at the restaurant with Michael Kassock of Mackless LLC, who bought it in June, 2011 and renamed it Schooner's Seafood & Steakhouse. Kassock has "strongly denied" the charges.
