Buck's Naked May Be Open By End Of The Month

The sweet-smoky scent of barbecue may be wafting through the Old Port by late November, according to the Buck's Naked BBQ Facebook page. Here's a look inside the dining room, which co-owner Wendy Caisse told The Forecaster in September would be decorated with "old windows and doors, along with 'tacky' knick-knacks." The Wharf Street spot - the former location of Havana South - is the third Buck's for Wendy and her husband Alex Caisse; the others are in Freeport and Windham. The new restaurant will have a larger bar "with 40-50 seats, "to cater to Portland's nightlife," but will also have a kids' play area like the Freeport location.
