New Additions To Now Four-Day Event

In their efforts to keep things interesting at Portland's 5th annual Harvest on the Harbor, The Convention and Visitors Bureau has added new elements this year, according to a press release. Top Chef veteran at chef at Rockland's The Pearl, Michele Ragussis will emcee "Cutting Edge," a contest among teams of student chefs. Also new is a "BBQ, Brews & Blues" event, featuring Buck's Naked BBQ, The Thirsty Pig, and others. The Maine Lobster Chef of the Year competition returns with Kerry Altiero of Cafe Miranda in Rockland, Melissa Bouchard of DeMillo's on the Water in Portland and Mackenzie Arrington of The Dutch in NYC vying for bragging rights and $1,000. Harvest on the Harbor is at Portland's Ocean Gateway Oct. 24-27.
